Sluzhebnik (Liturgikon) – the service book that contains the fixed parts of the Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, the Liturgy of St. Basil, and the Liturgy of the Presancrified. There may additionally be an abridged version of the Euchologion containing some fairly common ceremonies such as baptism, chrismation, matrimony, unction of the sick, and penance. For this reason the Sluzhebnik is sometimes called the Little Euchologion in contrast with the Great Euchologion. (Day, Peter. The Liturgical Dictionary of Eastern Christianity. Wellwood, 1993. P. 273) The book forms part of the collection of old prints and special collections of UCU Library. The book is in an old hardcover (leather, pressed paper, stamped with gilt) The book contains marginal notes in graphite pencil. Contains the stamp "Ĭ. A." [Ĭosyf Andriїshyn].
